The Punk in Drublic Festival is coming to tahn.

Fat Mike is a vodka drinker, but he’s in charge of one of the country’s biggest brew bashes.

On May 20, the NOFX frontman brings his Punk In Drublic Craft Beer & Music Festival to Pittsburgh.

Named after the band’s classic “Punk In Drublic” album, the roving taproom travels with five musical acts and more than 100 beers, including national favorites and local offerings from Cellar Works Brewing Co., Couch Brewery, Four Seasons Brewing Company, Voodoo Brewery, Rivertowne Brewing, Full Pint Brewing Company, Hop Farm Brewing Co., Arsenal Cider House and North Country Brewing Co.

Concertgoers also can try Stone Brewing Company’s NOFX Punk In Drublic Hoppy Lager. The beverage is special because it is the first time the beer giant has collaborated with a band for a can release. Fat Mike notes that he ceremoniously dumped the hops into the batch.

Highmark Stadium in Station Square will host the festival, which runs from 1 to 9 p.m. with complimentary beer tastings until 4 p.m. Several types of suds, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase after the tasting area closes.

NOFX, Bad Religion, The Interrupters, Mad Caddies and Bad Cop / Bad Cop will provide the soundtrack to the beer-soaked revelry.

“I simply made a better mouse trap and made a festival for older people,” says Fat Mike, noting that tickets to the Steel City show are selling like mad. “I got friends in Squirrel Hill. I played at a Pittsburgh stadium with Me First and the Gimme Gimmes and 35,000 thousand people booed me.”

Last year, during the festival’s inaugural six-city run, nearly 50,000 fans showed up to drink up and rock out. The 2018 tour hits Austin and Fort Worth, Texas, Richmond, Va., Philadelphia and Brockton, Mass., before wrapping up in the ‘burgh.

Folks who purchase a ticket get a free general admission pass to Camp Punk In Drublic, which will be held June 1-3 at Legend Valley Festival Grounds in Thornville, OH. The pass is only good for June 3.

General Admission tickets start at $39.50 (plus fees).
